Sona Cement, Shubham Healthcare and Employees Contribute Rs. 10.59 Million to Flood Relief

Sonapur Minerals & Oil Limited (Sona Cement), its employees, and Shubham Healthcare Products Pvt. Ltd. have contributed a combined Rs. 10.591 million (Rs. 1.0591 crore) to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to support citizens affected by the Bhotekoshi flood and other natural disasters.

Sona Cement contributed Rs. 5.1 million to the fund under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Meanwhile, employees of the company contributed Rs. 491,000, equivalent to one day’s salary.

In addition, Shubham Healthcare Products Pvt. Ltd. contributed Rs. 5 million to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. The contribution was made by Nipesh Tayal, Managing Director of Sonapur Minerals & Oil and a director of Shubham Healthcare, along with other company representatives.

The combined contribution of Rs. 10.591 million is intended to support immediate relief and rehabilitation efforts for people affected by floods, landslides, and other natural disasters.

The relief amount was handed over to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle at his office in Kathmandu.
